Two More Resign from Bank of America's Board

The reshaping within Bank of America Corp.'s board continues.

B of A said Jackie Ward and Patricia Mitchell resigned as directors last week, joining O. Temple Sloan and Robert L. Tillman.

In April shareholders ousted Kenneth D. Lewis as the chairman, with the board quickly picking Walter Massey, a retired college president, as his successor.

Lewis remains the president and chief executive officer.

Massey had promised last month to restructure the board.

On Friday, B of A added four directors with financial experience. Donald Powell, D. Paul Jones, William Boardman and Susan Bies all joined last week.

The $2.3 trillion-asset Charlotte company also said Gregory Curl would succeed Amy Brinkley as its chief risk officer at the end of this month.
