UMB Financial Corp. in Kansas City, Mo., said its UMB Bank Colorado would buy the $89 million-asset Citadel Bank in Colorado Springs.
The $9.2 billion-asset UMB Financial announced the all-cash deal Wednesday but did not say how much its would pay.
Buying Citadel would increase UMB Bank Colorado's asset total to about $922 million.
UMB Financial expects the acquisition to be modestly accretive to earnings in the first year. The deal is expected to close by early fall.
