U.S Bank Business Loans Down $600M in Latest Week

U.S. banks' commercial and industrial loans decreased $600 million to about $1.223 trillion in the week ended Oct. 6, the latest week for which data are available, the Federal Reserve said Friday.

That followed a $6.6 billion increase the previous week.

Jumbo certificates of deposit rose $8.9 billion to about $1.793 trillion in the latest weekly data, after falling $6.6 billion the previous week.
