U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management, created by Bank of America Corp.'s July purchase of U.S. Trust, has hired six executives.
The company expanded its team in San Diego by four, naming Kathleen Gamez and Bill Majewski as private client advisers and Lisa Behun and Khanh Ngo as relationship managers. The four will report to David Ohanian, U.S. Trust market executive for San Diego.
Ms. Gamez previously worked at Citigroup Inc.'s Smith Barney unit as a vice president and as an investments financial adviser. Mr. Majewski was a senior commercial banking director at Smith Barney.
Ms. Behun previously worked in sales at Intrepid Yacht Sales and Continental Yacht Sales, and Mr. Ngo was a client manager in Bank of America's commercial premier banking unit.
Bank of America also hired two relationship managers, Tim Powers and Mark Dirkswager. Mr. Powers, who will work in Macon, Ga., previously worked at CB&T Bank of Middle Georgia as a vice president and commercial lender. He will report to Glen Romm, U.S. Trust market executive for Georgia.
Mr. Dirkswager will work in Palm Desert, Calif., reporting to Brian Wineke, U.S. Trust market executive for Orange County and the Inland Empire. Mr. Dirkswager was a vice president and business relationship manager at Wells Fargo Bank.
The business — made up of the former U.S. Trust Family Wealth Advisors and The Private Bank of Bank of America — has more than $220 billion of assets under management. The executive moves were announced Friday.
