Utah.

Utah's solid economy has helped boost the state's population, the Office of Planning and Budget said last week.

The state's estimated population rose 2.6%, to about 1.82 million, during the fiscal year that ended June 30, according to the budget office.

It marked the second year in a row that in-migration, or people moving in compared to those leaving, exceeded 19,000, the budget office added.
