VeriFone Service Available in Europe

VeriFone Systems Inc. says its PayWare Merchant managed service for large retailers, petroleum marketers and hospitality companies, is now available in Europe.

The service was made possible by VeriFone's recent partnership with Gemalto NV. The PayWare Merchant payments platform can connect to most point of sale systems, and retailers may integrate the system's data with their accounting systems. The hosted service serves as the payments gateway to connect with merchant acquirers, VeriFone says.
