Veritex Holdings in Dallas Exits SBLF Program

Veritex Holdings in Dallas has exited the Small Business Lending Fund program.

The $1 billion-asset holding company for Veritex Community Bank redeemed about $8 million worth of SBLF shares, according to a regulatory filing. Veritex issued the shares to the Treasury Department in August 2011.

Veritex funded the redemption with surplus capital.
