Verizon Wireless has announced that its mobile banking platform in use at several regional banks will now be accessible via BlackBerry devices.
Verizon’s embedded mobile banking application includes the standard account balance/transaction history features, as well as intrabank account transfers and bill payment with bill view.
The service is only for Verizon Wireless customers who are accountholders at Wachovia, Regions, SunTrust, USAA, Synovus, America First Credit Union (AFCU), Arvest, BancorpSouth, FirstBank, South Financial and BECU.
