The $2.74 billion-asset company in Arlington has tapped Wilmer L. Tinley Jr., the former executive vice president and CFO of EagleBank in Bethesda, Md., to fill the position. Tinley was at EagleBank for nine years before retiring in 2007. Before that, he operated a franchise accounting and tax service, and served as the president and chief executive of Montgomery National Bank in Bethesda.

Virginia Commerce said it will continue to look for a permanent replacement for William K. Beauchesne, who died Feb. 22, shortly after he was diagnosed with cancer, the company said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Beauchesne had worked at Virginia Commerce for nearly 16 years.
