SAN FRANCISCO -- Visa International announced that it will open a branch office in Bangkok in the first quarter of 1995.
The association, which has 15 member financial institutions there, said the Bangkok office will provide services including training and technical assistance, as well as increased marketing efforts.
Thailand is one of Visa's fastest-growing markets in the Asia-Pacific region, with more than 500,000 cardholders.
