VSoft Corp. has launched a retail check imaging application that community banks can offer consumers and small businesses.
The company, a maker of software for regional and community banks, said it was demonstrating the product, Agile Home/Office, at its user conference this week in Atlanta, where it is based.
The browser-based product lets customers produce check images using a scanner, with the checks being automatically validated against the financial institution. VSoft said features of the product verify image quality and detect duplicate items.
Also at the conference, VSoft introduced a version of its Centrum Gateway software, which now enables the capture of check images at automated teller machines made by NCR Corp. and Diebold Inc.
