VyStar Credit Union is expanding its automated teller machine operations in northeast Florida through an agreement with Cardtronics Inc.
The deal, announced Monday, is part of Cardtronics' ATM Branding Program, which enables financial institutions to place their logos on the Houston ATM independent sales organization's machines.
VyStar, of Jacksonville, Fla., will place its brand on ATMs in 10 Walgreen Co. stores in Alachua County, VyStar said. VyStar has approximately 378,000 members and operates 30 branches in 17 counties.
"This opportunity provides VyStar with an efficient, low-cost way to increase our market presence and help acquire new members," Judy Walz, VyStar's senior vice president of marketing and strategic planning, said in the release.
