CAMPBELL, Calif. - Info-One, the Wachovia Corp. subsidiary that provides annuity sales information products and services, said Wednesday that it intends to offer fixed annuity data through its Vards platform.
Beginning next month, Info-One said, it will offer fixed annuity data on more than 800 fixed annuity contracts from more than 100 companies through its Vards Online and Vards Advisor presales systems. In addition, the data will become available through Info-One's Vards Wholesaler by the third quarter. Info-One has licensed the fixed annuity data from Fisher Publishing Inc., the developer of the Fisher Annuity Index.
Through its platform, the Vards Fixed Annuity Database will supply up-to-the-minute fixed annuity contract information, as well as current and historical interest rate data to insurance carriers and broker-dealers and their registered representatives. The database will also include information on effective annual yields, bonus rates, surrender penalties, minimum premium amounts, free withdrawal privileges, company ratings, new money rate history, and more.
In addition, the Vards Fixed Annuity Database is to feature daily updates, product coverage, and advanced search capabilities, as well as side-by-side product comparisons and client-approved contract data profiles.
