Wells Adds Global Bond Team To Asset Management Subsidiary

Wells Fargo & Co. added a global fixed income team to its institutional asset management subsidiary.

San Francisco-based Wells hired N. Graham Allen as managing director of the group in February from Bradford & Marzec, Los Angeles, where he ran an international bond management team.

Two-thirds of the $43 billion of assets under management at Wells Capital Management is invested in domestic fixed income securities.

Mr. Allen said government bond issues in the United States will slow due to the budget surplus but that "in other parts of the world, particularly Europe, global bond issuance will be up."

Also joining the subsidiary are two former colleagues of Mr. Allen from Bradford & Marzec-global portfolio manager Daniel J. Kokoszka and principal Thomas A. Harrison 4th-and core fixed income portfolio manager Jacqueline A. Flippin, who came from McMorgan & Co. in San Francisco.
