Wells Names Execs in St. Louis, Omaha

Wells Fargo Insurance Services of Chicago announced a pair of executive hirings.

The company has named Mary Good senior vice president of its St. Louis operations and Gina Samland managing director of its Omaha office.

Ms. Good was a principal and Midwest special risk practice leader for Mercer Health and Benefit Services.

At Wells she will lead the health benefits practice in St. Louis, develop relationships with banking partners, and initiate cross-selling efforts.

Ms. Samland was vice president and health and benefits practice leader for Aon Corp. She will handle overall management of Wells Fargo & Co. unit's Omaha office, including directing its expansion.

Wells Fargo Insurance Services, which announced the hirings Monday, is the fifth-largest insurance brokerage and the largest bank-owned insurance brokerage in the United States, with more than 150 offices in 38 states.

Its 4,500 insurance professionals place more than $8.5 billion of risk premiums with expertise in property, casualty, benefits, international, personal lines, and life products.
