Bank of the West in Honolulu, a subsidiary of BancWest Corp., San Francisco, has promoted Richard Aubrey and Daniel Mikes to senior vice president and hired a vice president for corporate banking, all in San Francisco.

Mr. Aubrey has worked at the bank for five years, the last four as vice president and treasurer. He will remain treasurer. Before joining Bank of the West, he was a senior vice president at Pacific Bank in San Francisco. Earlier he had been treasurer and controller at Montana Bancsystem in Billings.

Mr. Mikes has worked 18 months at Bank of the West, the last year as vice president of religious organization lending. He is now in charge of this specialty lending group. He came to the bank from A.B. Culbertson & Co. where he was vice president of underwriting.

In addition, Mr. Mikes recently hired Glenn E. Billingsley to be a vice president and corporate banking officer for church loans. Mr. Billingsley was co-founder of Asset Services Group Inc., a commercial real estate brokerage.
