Wilson of Tenn. gets voice system.

Wilson Bank and Trust of Lebanon, Tenn., is installing a personal computer-based banking system that will let its customers access their accounts by voice recognition.

The $154 million-asset community bank chose the Telebanking system from Arkansas Systems Inc., Little Rock.

Bank customers can access their accounts through either voice recognition or touch-tone phone keypads. The voice recognition option will allow customers without touch-tone phones to access their accounts. The system will operate 24 hours a day, allowing customers to obtain check balances, transfer funds, or confirm that checks have cleared. It will be tested in November.
