The WisdomTree Trust unit of WisdomTree Investments Inc. has a new small-cap emerging markets exchange-traded fund.
Trading in the WisdomTree Emerging Markets SmallCap Fund began Tuesday. The fund will track the WisdomTree Emerging Markets SmallCap Dividend Index and offer exposure to small-cap stocks of companies in 19 countries in Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
In July the company launched the WisdomTree Emerging Markets High-Yielding Fund. About 80% of the index tracked by the Emerging Markets High Yielding Fund is large-cap.
The New York firm, which had $4.5 billion of assets under management on Sept. 30, launched its first ETF last year. The new fund was announced Monday.
