Zions Paying $37M For a Nevada Bank

Adding to its presence in Nevada, Zions Bancorp has reached a definite agreement to acquire Sun State Capital Corp., Las Vegas, in a transaction valued at approximately $37 million.

Sun State, a $150 million-asset bank holding company, serves consumer and commercial clients from four offices in Las Vegas and one in Reno.

Zions' subsidiary Nevada State Bank is also based in Las Vegas. With $615 million of assets, it serves banking customers throughout Nevada.
