Now, Amazon has added them virtually to its mobile app and the homepage of its website to make reordering and restocking frequently purchased items easier and faster for customers, even creating buttons automatically for frequently or recently ordered products.
Since the 2015 launch of the Buttons experiment, Amazon has grown the offering of physical buttons to more than 200. The virtual version is available for "tens of millions" of products, according to Re/code, who first reported the news. Customers can add, remove or re-organize the order of their buttons from a dashboard in their preferences.
