Cardtronics Inc.’s Allpoint surcharge-free ATM network has added more than 1,000 machines to its network as part of a long-term agreement with Aptus Financial Inc., the companies announced Feb. 22
Aptus is a Portland, Ore.-based independent ATM operator that provides machines and maintenance to banks, credit unions and retailers.
The new Allpoint affiliated machines are located in more than 20 states and are available to the network’s 1,100 member issuers and some 25 million cardholders.
The regulator says its prior amicus brief, which cited the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and sided with borrowers, was no longer valid.
