Sellers using e-commerce marketplace Atomic Mail can now add Dwolla as a payment option on the checkout pages of their websites.
Online and mobile payments provider Dwolla joins the existing choices of PayPal, Bitcoin, Visa, MasterCard or Amazon Payments, the Atomic Mail
Atomic Mail informed its merchants that Dwolla would replace Xcoin Payments as the e-commerce marketplace's preferred payment method. Yakima, Wash.-based Atomic Mail introduced Xcoin to its users in April of 2014.
Des Moines, Iowa-based Dwolla provides an online and mobile network in which users can share and spend money with transfers from their bank accounts at a cost of 25 cents per transaction for most amounts. Transactions under $10 are free.
Shoppers visiting an Atomic Mail Store are not required to have a Dwolla account. Buyers select the guest checkout option and can complete a purchase in a few clicks, using their bank or credit card account, Atomic Mail said.
