Oman’s BankDhofar has launched a promotion in which 25 credit cardholders will win back an entire purchase initiated with their cards, the bank announced Nov. 6.
The promotion runs from November through January, and the bank expects to gain new cardholders through the program. It now has about 100,00o cardholder s.
“The program will be later expanded to include more winners in batches of 25,” a bank spokesperson tells PaymentsSource.
The bank offers credit cards in Platinum, Gold and Silver categories. While the Platinum variant is available only with the MasterCard brand, the bank also issues the two other variants with the Visa logo.
The bank also issues a MasterCard-branded virtual e-card for online purchases and a basic Visa-branded Al Noor Card, which is a Sharia-compliant Islamic credit card.
