BPC To Establish Card-Processing Center For Russian Bank

Russia-based BPC Banking Technologies says it will provide card-processing services for Russia-based Vneshprombank Ltd., also known as Foreign Economic Industrial Bank. BPC "will implement a fully functional processing" system for the bank, which would establish an in-house processing center. The bank's effort involves BPC's SmartVisa software, according to a statement from the processing firm. The bank issues magnetic stripe and chip cards supported by the MasterCard and Visa brands, the statement says.
