MasterCard Worldwide today announced promotions with Southwest Airlines and Starwood Hotels & Resorts that enable cardholders to enter to win free trips to the NBA All-Star game in Phoenix on Feb. 15. Cardholders must book travel plans with Southwest and Starwood before yearend to qualify.
Fidelity Investments this week introduced the Retirement Rewards American Express Card, which enables cardholders to earn 2% cash back on all purchases when their reward balance is directed toward a current-year contribution to one of several types of Fidelity individual retirement accounts.
FNDS3000 Corp., a payments processor based in Ponta Vedra Beach, Fla., has hired John Hancock as CEO and director. Hancock currently is the chairman of the British American Business Council, a transatlantic trade group. FNDS3000 also has hired John Watson as executive vice president and director. NetSpend Corp. and Ace Cash Express Inc. say proceeds from consumers using the Pink All-Access Visa prepaid card to shop have resulted in a donation of $369,000 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
