JCB International Co., Ltd., the wholly owned subsidiary of JCB Co. Ltd. (JCB), announced this week the appointment of Koremitsu Sannomiya as president and chief operating officer. Sannomiya succeeds Kenji Seto, who has served in the position since June 2007.

Barclaycard, the credit card division of Barclays PLC, today opened its new administrative office in Long Island City, New York, which will provide credit risk, corporate finance and market analytics support to Barclaycard global operations.

CyberSource Corp. and ThreatMetrix Inc. are providing two free Web seminars focused on online commerce fraud prevention. CyberSource is an online-payment and risk-management company, and ThreatMetrix is a provider of online fraud-control products.
