Heartland Payment Systems Inc. claims it has completed successfully its Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard assessment and is compliant once again with the standard. Visa Inc. will relist Heartland among its list of validated service providers on May 4, according to Heartland. Visa removed Heartland in March because of a data breach at the processor (CardLine, 3/13).
Jared Isaacman, CEO of United Bank Card Inc., an independent sales organization, has set a world record for circumnavigating the globe in a light jet in 61 hours, 51 minutes and 15 seconds. Isaacman also raised nearly $90,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey as part of the flight.
RDM Corp., which develops software and hardware products for the payments industry, has received Class B certification for its RDM Synergy II payment terminal from Total System Services Inc.
Inetco Systems Ltd., which provides transaction-management products for payment networks, has hired Mark Johnston as chief operating officer and Mike Blackstock as vice president of research and development. Both are former Inetco board members.
