Cardtronics, an ATM services support firm, announced Wednesday a deal to provide ATMs at the Canadian locations of gas station convenience store chain Corner Store.
The deal makes Cardtronics' Canadian subsidiary the sole provider of ATM services to Corner Store locations in eastern Canada. The company will provide 275 machines, which will be TD Bank-branded, and has rights to further expansion.
The Canadian deal marks a deepening relationship between the two companies. Cardtronics already provides ATM support to over 1,000 Corner Store locations in the U.S.
"Cardtronics has been our ATM service partner in the U.S. for many years, and we are looking forward to expanding this relationship internationally with our Corner Store locations in Canada," Hal Adams, senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Corner Store's parent, CST Brands, said in a May 13 press release.
