The company said it also plans to extend commercial card issuance to the United Arab Emirates before the end of the year.

Citi has expanded its commercial card market coverage to 10 new countries within the past year (see story).  The most recent additions, within the past few months, were Turkey and South Africa, Citi said.

“The addition of Greece and Luxembourg to Citi’s commercial card offering underscores our commitment to providing clients with truly consistent global market coverage coupled with local market expertise,” Manish Kohli, Citi’s head of wholesale card operations for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, said in a statement.
