Citibank Berhad has launched the new Citibank Debit and ATM Card, offering customers global access to cash, free of charge at 13,500 Citibank ATMs in over 100 countries, and access to make purchases at more than 29 million Visa merchant outlets worldwide.
The bank has announced that the Citibank Debit and A Card will allow customers to use cashless payments for business or pleasure, locally and abroad, as there is no need to carry cash, foreign currency or travelers' checks.
Citibank
is targeting to issue 100,000 new cards over the next 12 months.Michellina Triwardhany, country business head for consumer banking at Citibank Berhad, said: "The Citibank Debit and A Card is versatile as it offers customers easy access to cash at Citibank A machines worldwide at no extra costs, and be able to conduct transactions at Visa's extensive network of more than 29 million merchants."
