Co-op Financial Services this week announced a partnership with the Louisiana Credit Union League intended to help expand Co-op’s surcharge-free ATM network throughout Louisiana.
The Harahan, La.-based league, which serves the state’s credit unions, is offering Co-Op Network to 226 Louisiana credit unions, the organizations said.
“Co-op Network is growing rapidly in the southeast,” Eric Porter, executive vice president of business development and marketing, said in a statement. “We have a tremendous opportunity to expand surcharge-free ATM access to credit union members in Louisiana through this partnership.”
Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.-based Co-op Financial operates 28,000 surcharge-free ATMs for its 3,000 credit-union members nationwide. Neither Co-op or the Louisiana Credit Union League disclosed the agreement’s terms., and repeated calls to Anne Cochran, league CEO, were not retuned.
