Australian supermarket Coles is launching a tap-and-go mobile wallet to customers this week.

Customers using the Coles MasterCard can download the free mobile wallet app and obtain a MasterCard PayTag sticker to adhere to the back of a smartphone, enabling it to make payments at any store that accepts contactless MasterCards, Coles says in a press release.
The service is limited to purchases of up to $100. For larger purchases, customers will have to type a PIN at the terminal.
Mobile wallet users can check account balance and available credit and monitor transaction history through the app.
