Datacard Group has acquired Dynamic Card Solutions, a leading provider of instant-issuance software for financial card programs, Minnetonka, Minn.-based Datacard announced Sept. 30.
Terms were not disclosed.
The acquisition, which includes the Dynamic Card’s flagship CardWizard software, strategically expands Datacard’s portfolio of instant-issuing servicesfor banks, credit unions and retailers, and it positions the company for fast growth in a promising global market, Datacard noted in a news release.
Datacard plans to maintain Dynamic Card’s staff and a facility in the Denver area, Todd Wilkinson, Datacard Group president and CEO, said in the release.
Dynamic Card “customers in the U.S. will continue to work with their current sales and support teams,” Wilkinson said. “Datacard will also support and supplement the [Dynamic Card] team in the U.S., and over time we will leverage our global distribution network to accelerate international sales,” he said.
