The deal, which is expected to close in the fourth quarter, will add about 1,325 ATM sites and related contracts, increasing the total number of active DC Payments ATM terminals in the region to about 7,521. DC Payments says it has the largest independent network of branded ATMs in the Australian market.

"[The deal] offers significant economies of scale, cost savings and bolsters our existing position in the Australian marketplace," said Jeffrey Smith, president and chief executive of DC Payments, in a Sept. 18 press release. "Eze has a large ATM portfolio in Australia and we are excited to have the opportunity to add the Eze business to our operations and continue to build our presence internationally."

DC Payments also provides branded ATMs in Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom and New Zealand.
