Doha Bank has launched a platinum debit card intended for wealthy Qatar residents in collaboration with Visa Inc., according to the Doha-based bank. This is the first Visa platinum debit card issued in Qatar, according to the bank. The bank will brand the card with Al-Riyada, the VIP service of Doha Bank, and it will offer the card to privileged customers only by invitation. The bank did not provide details on how consumers qualify for the card. The Al Riyada service gives customers access to a range of tailored financial products and banking services at any Doha Bank branch. The card includes free travel insurance, extended warranty on purchases and instant cash services. The bank did not disclose the fees and credit limits to CardLine Global. Established in 1979, Doha Bank is the largest private commercial bank in Qatar.
