The companies plan to integrate Affirmative Technologies’ ACHNow and ACH Risk Manager with Secure Vault Payments, a payment mode eWise and NACHA make available, the companies noted in a press release (see story).

ACHNow submits transactions for payment electronically through the automated clearinghouse network, the release said. ACH Risk Manager manages risk affecting financial institutions’ daily ACH operations.

Secure Vault Payments gives businesses an online-payment option that provides immediate authorization of funds and guaranteed payments for ACH transactions at costs typically lower than alternative payments, eWise said in the release. It offers consumers an online-payment option without sharing personal account information.

“Bringing new payment [services] to market can be a daunting task. Through this partnership with eWise, we are simplifying the implementation process and adding value for our customers at the same time,” George Bassous, Affirmative Technologies CEO and chief technology officer, said in the release.

“The payments industry is rapidly evolving, and companies must adapt and innovate in order to remain competitive,” said Alex Grinberg, eWise CEO. “With Affirmative Technologies, we are able to employ our rapid implementation strategy to get financial institutions, merchants and billers up and running with alternative payment [services] more quickly and efficiently.”
