Fidelity To Speed Bill Payments With Yodlee, Western Union

Bank processor Fidelity National Information Services Inc. will offer its customers online expedited bill-payment capabilities through new partnerships with Yodlee Inc. and Western Union Co., Fidelity National announced yesterday. Fidelity National will integrate into its online bill-payment service Yodlee's PayToday platform, which enables a variety of online electronic-billing and bill-payment options, including expedited payments that clear more quickly than standard online payments. Western Union also will enable financial-institution customers to send same-day bill payments through the PayToday platform. Additionally, Yodlee's DirectPay service will enable bank customers to pay more than 400 billers online using their credit and debit cards, which generate additional interchange revenue for issuers, Fidelity National says.
