First National Bank of Omaha and Veterinary Centers of America Animal Hospitals on July 12 announced a partnership and the launch of the VCA Visa Signature Card with PetCare Rewards.
Participating cardholders pay no annual fees, and they will receive a 0% introductory rate for six months that increases to a variable 13.99% annual percentage rate based on the prime rate. For each new account, First National will donate $5 to VCA Charities.
When using the card, cardholders will receive three points per $1 spent on qualifying VCA purchases, and 1.25 points per $1 spent on all other qualifying purchases. They receive 1,500 bonus points the first time they use to the card for a qualified purchase outside a VCA Animal Hospital during the first three billing cycles after they open an account.
Cardholders may redeem their points for cash off their next VCA visit. They also may customize their card with their pet’s picture.
The Omaha, Neb.-based issuer is providing the card offering to the more than 470 VCA Animal Hospital locations through the United States, Stephen F. Eulie, president of First National Credit Card Center Inc., notes in a news release.
