The Brookfield, Wis.-based banking-technology company acquired M-Com in January (see story).  Fiserv and M-Com have been partners since 2008, long predating the acquisition, and the two product sets were very similar.

“We are not doing away with any product functionality, and customers will continue to use the same products going forward,” says spokesperson Ann Cave. “So basically it’s ‘same products, new names.’”

Fiserv’s Mobile Money Licensed and M-Com’s BankAnywhere Licensed–products geared toward large banks built on the same platform–now are called Mobiliti Enterprise. Features include remote deposit capture, bill presentment and payment, person-to-person payments, alerting and location services. Customer-care tools and analytics and diagnostic capabilities are part of the package.

The former Mobile Money FastTrack, an off-the-shelf version of Mobile Money, is now called Mobiliti Advantage. Built for the U.S. market, it provides basic mobile-banking features such as balance inquiries, funds transfers and bill payment.

Mobiliti Edge is the off-the-shelf version of the former BankAnywhere product from M-Com and the non-U.S. version of Mobile Money FastTrack. It is intended for use in international markets.
