FleetCor Operating Co. LLC on Sept. 27 launched the Chevron and Texaco Universal Business MasterCard credit card designed with a flexible platform to serve both large and small fleet operators, the company says.
The cobranded card, which Regions Financial Corp. issues, enables cardholders to purchase fuel at any outlet that accepts MasterCard. Fleet card program managers may enable the cobranded card to be used for maintenance, oil changes, tire replacements and other purchase categories based on business needs, FleetCor says.
The cobranded card provides additional fuel savings when cardholders purchase fuel at Chevron and Texaco locations, a spokesperson says.
FleetCor also offers a proprietary Chevron-branded fleet card accepted at Chevron and Texaco locations.
Established in 2000, Norcross, Ga.-based FleetCor serves some 750,000 business fleets and more than 3.5 million cardholders in North America, Europe, Asia and Africa under program brand names that include CCS, CFN, FleetNet, Fuelman, The Fuelcard Co., Keyfuels Mannatec and Smart.
