Mobile payments company Clinkle has hired Barry McCarthy to be its chief operating officer.
Prior to joining Clinkle, McCarthy was chief financial officer of Netflix from 1999 to 2010. For the past three years, he's invested in Web startups and has served as an executive advisor to Technology Crossover Ventures, a Silicon Valley venture capital group.
