Global Payments, an Atlanta-based payment processor, has signed a deal with Bigcommerce, an e-commerce software firm, to provide its merchants with online shopping sites.
Under the partnership, Global Payments customers will have access to Bigcommerce's online shopping platform, allowing them to create domain names, product catalogs and secure shopping carts. Merchants will also receive assistance with website design, mobile experience and search engine optimization.
"Bigcommerce is another tool that allows our merchants to tap into the e-commerce market and sell online," said Jay Rising, president of the Americas at Global Payments, in a June 18 press release.
