Google Wallet Adds Instant Buy for iPhone Users

Google has made its Instant Buy API technology compatible with Apple devices.

The technology simplifies the payment process on smartphones, allowing Google Wallet users to purchase items from mobile commerce sites without having to type in their shipping and billing information.

The program was previously available only on Android devices.

Google worked with several companies ahead of the release to integrate Instant Buy with iOS-based apps. The companies include B&H, a photo and video supplier; Eat24, a food delivery service; Fancy, a mobile shopping app; Newegg, a computer retailer; Sonic Mobile, a marketing firm; and Wish, an online shopping platform.
