France-based contactless-chip vendor Inside Contactless has signed a deal with Spain-based card manufacturer SAETIC, or Sociedad Anonima Epsanola de Tarjetas de Identification y Credito, to produce contactless cards and stickers that carry Inside's technology, an Inside spokesperson tells CardLine Global. The deal focuses on contactless cards carrying the EMV antifraud application and Inside's MicroPass technology. Production initially will focus on contactless-only payment cards, but Inside expects eventually to include cards with contact and contactless chips and transit and identification cards, the spokesperson says.
