Isis Cashwrap Case for iPhone Comes to AT&T Stores

Incipio's Cashwrap sleeve for Apple iPhones, announced a year ago as a companion to the Isis mobile wallet, will soon be available for purchase at AT&T company-owned stores.

The Cashwrap case works with the iPhone 4, iPhone 4s, iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s smartphones. It stores payment information on a microSD card from DeviceFidelity and allows payments from accounts linked to the Isis wallet, a venture of AT&T, Verizon Wireless and T-Mobile.

The Isis wallet works with phones built with Near Field Communication chips for contactless payments. Apple has never used NFC technology in its iPhone product line, though Isis has long promised support for Apple devices.

The Cashwrap sleeve will come to AT&T stores by Jan. 31 and can be purchased online today, Incipio says in a Jan. 24 press release.
