TriSource Solutions LLC has acquired DCC Merchant Services USA, a multicurrency payment processor, TriSource announced this week. TriSource, a Davenport, Iowa-based independent sales organization and transaction processor, says the deal will help TriSource and its sales agents generate revenue from foreign spending in the United States. Consumers using non-U.S. payment cards see the transaction amount on the point-of-sale terminal in their home currencies and pay in their native currencies. The merchant, however, receives settlement funds in U.S. dollars. The company did not disclose terms of the deal.
