Johan Holdings To Issue Cards In Malaysia, New Zealand

Johan Holdings Bhd., a card, tourism, real estate and manufacturing company based in Malaysia, will issue a Diners Club International credit card in Malaysia next year, a Johan spokesperson tells CardLine Global. The company has issued charge cards in New Zealand for about five years and plans to issue a Diners Club credit card in that country within two years, the spokesperson says. The company plans to invest some NZ$3 million (US$2.2 million or 1.4 million euros) to establish a card-management system in New Zealand, the spokesperson says.
