London-based Kalixa Payments Group is offering consumers in Europe a mobile wallet based on DeviceFidelity's Near Field Communication technology.
Kalixa's version of DeviceFidelity's moneto prepaid wallet links to Kalixa Pay, the company's prepaid MasterCard, and will work on any mobile phone, including Apple's iPhone.
Kalixa's mobile wallet uses a micro SD chip and NFC antenna from DeviceFidelity, according to a July 23 press release. Consumers will be able to use the NFC payment system at any retailer that accepts contactless MasterCard payments.
