Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia has begun to issue a Visa-branded credit card called the Visa Infinite card. The bank hopes to attract customers who earn at least 150,000 ringgits (US$45,900 or 29,000 euros) per year. The card "is targeted at the wealthy high net worth segment which is underserved in the market today," a bank spokesperson tells CardLine Global. The bank expects to issue 10,000 cards over the next year. The bank has issued at least 450,000 cards.
