Malaysia-based credit and charge card firm MBF Cards Sdn. Bhd. reportedly plans to issue new credit cards in Malaysia early next year to help the company maintain and expand its 7% share of the country's credit card market. The company has issued some 500,000 cards with the JCB, MasterCard and Visa brands, but press reports did not indicate the brand for the new card, and company officials declined comment to CardLine Global. Cardholders will require annual incomes of at least 200,000 Malaysian ringgits (US$54,800 or 42,800 euros), reports say.
